2016 Subaru Forester Airbags Problems

The passenger ods is not working right causing an error state of the airbags which is a safety hazard as they will not deploy in the event of a car accident.

I backed out of a parking space, put my foot on the brake and shifted into Drive to finish maneuvering out of the space. On Aug 5th my wife met with an accident while trying to avoid a head-on collision side swiped a vehicle on the right lane which hit the car on the rear side and the impact further changed the direction of her car and she went and hit the steel fence stone pillar on the right side.

On november 7, 2020 around 630pm, I was driving on city street going nw on sunset in fair oaks, ca in a far right lane. I was driving about 35 to 40 MPH with one other cars infront or besides me. Certainly while I was driving, I heard a loud boom.

My horn stopped working. When I press the lock button three times the horn still sounds the problem is the clockspring on the steering wheel it is broken and this is a safety issue. It controls multiple things on the steering wheel including the Airbag.

The SRS Airbag light is coming on and off due to a manufacturer defect.

It is in the 2016 and 2017 owners manual that if there is a cell phone or electrical device in the front area of the car then the air bag sensors could malfunction.

The passenger side airbag will not deploy if there is a cushion on the seat. This was not explained to me until after I complained and I was then told that I should have read the owner's manual. Unfortunately, the owner's manual is not available until after the car's purchase and even then I would have had to know that my arthritis was going to get severe enough to need a cushion.
