During highway driving that lasts more than 30 minutes, your steering wheel suddenly becomes stiff and hard to turn, requiring you to force it in a different direction. This happens without any warning lights or messages from the car. The problem started about a month after you bought the vehicle and has no obvious trigger other than extended freeway driving.
