2017 Ram 1500 Steering Problems

I was driving the vehicle and suddenly the power steering became difficult to steer. It has happened to me on several occasions often in situations where an accident could have been caused with my family in tow.

Was driving down the interstate going around a curve and the service power steering message was displayed and lost power steering. Almost went into other lane of traffic almost causing an accident at 70mph. Was able to get vehicle to side of road.

At 76,000 miles the electric steering rack and pinion went out! Causing the steering to be stiff and potentially setting up for accidents since steering just got stiff. After spending $4,000.00 the problem has been replaced.

Electric power steering failed suddenly while making a left turn, on a two lane highway, left me in the oncoming lane with risk for near head on collision. Noticed at 40k miles there is issue with tie rod ends joints become loose may cause accident reported this to a dealership they trying to brush me off bs that there is issue with rockers and lifters in the engine and exhaust manifold studs are snapping causing exhaust to leak and become louder that's a emission issue also

When backing into garage on 5/24/20 ram 1500 quad cab steering locked in one position and vehicle accelerator went to the floor. Yeah I started with the screens in my dash going dark they could not figure out what the issue was so now it's gotten to where the whole dashboard and the whole everything dies or shuts down. Service electronic braking system/ service antilock brake system, (ABS). My local dealership stated this is a nationwide known issue for the past three years with manufacture and supplier issue and that there is no no remedy or fix for this at this time.
