2015 Nissan Pathfinder Engine Problems

Whenever I turned on the a/c or heater, there was a strange noise coming from under the hood. I noticed it when I was stationary at a stop light. I turned off the a/c which the noise went away.

2015 nissan pathfinder with 43,000 miles for the last 6 months vehicle has giving us problems accelerating after coming to a complete stop and while driving at normal speeds. I would start to accelerate after a complete stop and the pathfinder would only move at a slightly higher than idle speed until I put my foot on the brake and then once again on the accelerator pedal.

While driving at a rate of 20mph +, the pathfinder will start jerking back and forth then turn off. This happened in the middle of a highway lane. Good thing no one was hurt.

For over 6 months my vehicle has been sputtering off and on. Just recently, when cranking it up, it would blow out white smoke and sputter even worse. We bought it in march 2020 knowing it was sputtering but the dealership claimed to have fixed it.

Noise coming from the front of the vehicle from fan assembly as a/c is put on. Noise goes away as climate control is turned off. Reading multiple forum this seems to be a common problem on nissan pathfinder (2013-2017).

Radiator fan motor, seems to be common problem. Can hear bearings rattling in the fan motor.

My 2015, is at 54k miles and it starting make noise and had it checked it's the cooling system. This should be a recall. My friend has a 2017 and she having the same issues.

2015 nissan pathfinder was purchase two months ago with only 48569 miles it's started making a loud ticking noise when AC and heat is on. Turn out fan is going out. Very annoying and the car is not that old.

Cooling fan started making noises when AC or heat is at 58k. Sounds like the fan bearings are shot. I see multiple complaints on line for this.

The car only has 22,000 miles and the center dual cooling fan has already started making a loud noise unfortunately as a 2015 these vehicles is out of warranty I have done research online and it seems that it's become a very common problem on these vehicle I don't understand why this has not being on recall yet multiple people are also complaining as they replace the part and it goes bad within months so it seems this is a engineering problem

At less than 41,000 miles, the bearings in the dual radiator and condenser fan assembly are worn and the fan assembly shakes when the fans turn on. During normal operation, radiator cooling fan makes a buzzing noise when HVAC system is turned on to any setting. Upon further inspection, passenger side radiator fan is off balance, causing vibration and buzzing sound. With vehicle turned off, fan blade was verified loss.

At 32,000 miles, a loud noise was heard from the engine area when air conditioning was on. Upon investigation, the drivers side radiator fan was rubbing against the shroud. Complete cooling fan module needed to be replaced.

My truck is currently at the dealership and theyre claiming that the transmission needs to be replaced. This is a new truck with 71000 miles

Driver's side radiator fan wobbles and makes noise when compressor for defroster or a/c is turned on.

Accelerating from stop and experience a studder or delayed acceleration. Must release accelerator and then press again to accelerate. This is an intermittent issue and cannot be reproduced on demand so it makes it hard to diagnose with a mechanic.

The radiator cooling fan failed in my 2015 nissan pathfinder causing a loud knocking in the motor . Every nissan dealership around columbia, sc does not have the part in stock due to it being on backorder. This is for both factory and aftermarket.

Motor & fan assembly with shroud- fan is inoperative since a part on fan has broken. Vehicle is only working on one fan. Vehicle started making a loud noise when fan assembly would come on while driving.

CVT transmission is the worse my vehicle stopped on me on the highway coming from miami to orlando no warning nothing just stopped, the vehicle goes faster than it actually says with my children the only direction it could go into is reverse late at night it was so scary.

The engine cooling fan part number 21481-3ja2e has failed twice in this vehicle. First time at 50,529 miles and again at 106,370

Cooling fan bearings have gone bad twice in 75000 miles. The first time it was still in warranty. This is the second time and it is a wide spread problem and nissan needs to be responsible.

During acceleration there is a sudden complete loss of power. Engine doesn't turn off and the rpms do not rise. The power will come back within a few seconds.
