After a dealership software update last November, your car's heater and defroster stop working when temperatures drop below about 17°F, causing the windshield and interior to fog up dangerously. The system only starts working after about 10 minutes of driving, and the dealership says this is intentional. The dealership's suggested workaround of letting the car idle for 10 minutes before driving doesn't actually help. Fixing this will likely require the dealership to release a software update that allows the heating system to function normally in cold weather.

Your rear view camera display cuts out intermittently after the dealer performed recall service R23D7, though opening and closing the tailgate sometimes brings it back. The problem seems to happen more often in certain temperatures, and the dealership says the wiring harness repair isn't covered under the recall anymore. A technician will need to diagnose and likely repair or replace the camera wiring harness to restore reliable display function.

The rear view camera picture on the display is grey and does not display any video signal at temperatures below about 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Backing up without the rear view camera picture causes a safety hazard.

The resolution for recall 22V-048 provided by Nissan is unacceptable. In order how to properly run the defroster for conditions you have refer to manual or supplement manual. I would expect just turn on defrost and not worry if it going to work in the weather condition I am driving in.
