While driving on the highway with cruise control set to 76 mph, pressing the plus button to increase speed caused the cruise control to jump to 110 mph instead of increasing gradually. After braking to stop the acceleration, turning cruise control off and back on repeatedly caused it to immediately reset to 110 mph for the next 45 minutes. This malfunction prevented normal cruise control operation and forced you to rely on manual braking. The fix will likely involve a software update or replacement of the cruise control module.
