Your brake pedal went to the floor without responding when you tried to stop at a stop sign, leaving you unable to control the vehicle. You had to swerve to avoid a direct collision, which caused you to hit another vehicle and deploy your airbag. The brakes only engaged in the last foot of distance despite repeated attempts to pump them, and no brake warning lights appeared beforehand. A full brake system inspection will be needed to determine what caused the complete loss of braking ability.
