When driving approximately 45 mph and above the entire car starts to violently shake. I don't know what part causes this problem. I've heard it could be : steering damper, ball joints, tie rods, track bar, front suspension damper cause this. IDK. Until I can afford to take it to a service shop and get it checked and repaired, it sits parked because I'm afraid to drive it. This started about a month ago. Jeep (Stellantis) should be recalling and repairing ALL Wranglers with this problem not just newer models. My car has LOW miles but somehow got excluded from the lawsuit settlement apparently which is going by model years. This is a safety issue.
The tie rod (steering) randomly disconnected causing loss of steering at 10mph.
DRIVING THIS JEEP HIT A BUMP JEEP GOES INTO A DEATH WABBLE.
The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the vehicle was running rough. Additionally, while the brake pedal was depressed, the vehicle was slow to respond. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the caliper had seized, and that the ball joint and K-bar needed to be replaced. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
THE JEEP WAS STOPPED AND TURNED OFF FOR OVER 2 HOURS. THE PLUG ON THE ELECTRONIC SWAY BAR STARTED SMOKING AND THEN CAUGHT FIRE. LUCKILY I WASN'T TOO FAR AWAY AND WAS ABLE TO STOP THE FIRE FROM SPREADING
THE FRONT WHEELS WOBBLE UNCONTROLLABLY AT HIGH SPEEDS (55MPH). THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES AND ONLY CONSIDERABLE SLOWING AND COUNTERMEASURES CAN STOP THIS HORRIFYING PROBLEM. THE CONDITION IS KNOWN AS "JEEP DEATH WOBBLE" AND IF YOU LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE YOU CAN SEE VIDEO OF PRECISELY WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY JEEP ON THE HIGHWAY, ON BRIDGES, ON CURVES WHILE I AM GOING FAST. IT HAPPENED AT 20K THEY FIXED IT AND IT STARTED TO HAPPEN AGAIN AROUND 75K. THEY KNOW THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM.

THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE FRONT AXLE RUSTED OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
PURCHASED VEHICLE USED IN MAY 2015. I'M THE SECOND OWNER. ON APPROXIMATELY AUG. 29, WHILE DRIVING AND MAKING A LEFT TURN FROM A STOP, I HEARD A BANGING NOISE. THE SAME BANGING NOISE HAPPENED ABOUT 1 WEEK LATER (SEP. 3), BUT THIS TIME WHEN TURNING RIGHT FROM A STOP. I DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME AND INSPECTED UNDER THE VEHICLE TO CHECK IT OUT. I DISCOVERED THAT THE UPPER CONTROL ARMS ON BOTH THE DRIVER REAR AND PASSENGER REAR SIDES WERE COMPLETELY BROKEN. VEHICLE IS STILL UNDER 3 YEAR 36/000 FACTORY WARRANTY AND I ALSO PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. THE DEALER PROVIDED A "RECALL REPORT" WHICH CAME BACK CLEAN. MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN PARKED SINCE SEP 3. I AM HAVING IT TOWED TO A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP IN A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER PARTS COME IN FOR REPAIR. THIS VEHICLE COULD HAVE COME TOTALLY APART HAD I BEEN DRIVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. IN ADDITION, THE REAR CV JOINT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. UPDATED 10/07/15. *JB
MY JEEP HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT TIRE ALIGNMENT . THE RIGHT AND LEFT TIRE WEAR TO FAST ATD THE OUTER SIDE CAUSING POSSIBLE PROBLEM DURING HANDLING ON WET ROADS. I HAVE TAKE THE JEEP TO A SHOP TO BE ALIGN, BUT THE MECHANIC TOLL ME THAT THE PROBLEM WITH MY JEEP IS THE CAMBER POSITION AND THESE POSITION IS SET BY THE FACTORY. THE FACTORY DESENT WANT TO MAKE THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL AND THE RELATED COMPONENT. WHAT I CAN DO TO RESOLVE THESE ISSUE? *TR
ON FRIDAY MARCH 14, 2014 I WAS DRIVING WITH MY 1 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ON HARMONY CHURCH ROAD (ROUTE 704) ON MY WAY TO MY SON'S ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. MY DAUGHTER WAS IN A CAR SEAT IN THE BACK SEAT, DIRECTLY BEHIND THE PASSENGER SEAT. WHILE EN ROUTE, MY 2013 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED HIT DRIFTED TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TIRE WAS PULLED INTO SOFT MUD. I LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. MY VEHICLE WAS PULLED TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND I WENT OFF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE STRUCK A TREE AND VARIOUS BUSHES. THE LOUDOUN COUNTY SHERIFF?S DEPARTMENT AND LOUDOUN COUNTY FIRE AND RESCUE RESPONDED TO THE SCENE. MY HUSBAND AND I RECENTLY PUT LARGER TIRES AND RIMS ON THE JEEP AND A 3? LIFT KIT. MY HUSBAND COMMENTED THAT WITH THE LARGER TIRES AND THE RAISED HEIGHT, THE JEEP WAS MORE DIFFICULT TO CONTROL ON THE ROAD AND I HAD NOTICED THE VEHICLE VISIBLY ?WANDER? ON THE ROAD WHEN I HAD FOLLOWED MY HUSBAND WHILE HE WAS DRIVING THE JEEP. THE SHERIFF?S DEPARTMENT CALLED MY HUSBAND AT HOME AND HE RESPONDED TO THE ACCIDENT SCENE AND TOOK OUR DAUGHTER. I SUSTAINED INJURES IN THE COLLISION, BUT MY DAUGHTER WAS UNHARMED. THE JEEP?S AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AND I SUSTAINED A FRACTURED NOSE, FACIAL LACERATIONS, FACIAL CONTUSIONS AND A CONTUSION TO MY STERNUM. I WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO LEESBURG HOSPITAL AT 224 CORNWALL STREET. *TR
