criticalLANE DEPARTURE,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
Filed: Oct 2025

Your 2025 Jeep Compass is experiencing random failures of multiple safety features including lane departure warning, forward collision avoidance, blind spot monitoring, auto high beams, and automatic emergency braking. These systems disable unexpectedly—sometimes immediately after starting the vehicle or after several minutes of driving—and only resume working after you restart the car. The dealership has confirmed this is a known issue affecting some Jeep and Dodge models, but no repair is currently available; Jeep engineers are reportedly working on a software update or recall that may arrive within a year. Fixing this will likely require a software update or reprogramming from the dealership once Jeep releases an official fix.
