Your car may suddenly accelerate on its own while driving or idling, even when you're pressing the brake pedal. This has caused dangerous situations, including unexpectedly backing down your driveway and accelerating forward at traffic lights when pedestrians are nearby. The repair shop has completed two major services without identifying or fixing the cause.
