2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Collision Avoidance Problems

The cruise will shut off randomly saying the radar is blocked. When it does this the car decelerates very fast. Which is very dangerous in traffic.

When driving on the interstate the collision avoidance system will falsely trigger around 5% of the times going under overpasses or road signs. The vehicle rapidly decelerates using regenerative braking.

Involved in a minor collision. Rear ended another car accelerating from a stop light (low speed). Forward collision warning did not activate.

Forward safety system error message on dashboard. Dealer found DTC codes below ADAS_DRV ADAS Driving ECU C28B186 CAN Signal Error FR_RDR FR_RADAR Front Radar C162078 Alignment failed Dealer states alignment failing not covered under warranty even though no damage visible on vehicle. Unable to afford repairs if not covered under warranty.

ICCU stopped charging my auxiliary battery (Hyundai Ioniq 5). I couldn’t figure out why, but I began carrying a portable charger with me which instantly got my car going again. One day during a particularly nasty snow storm, my battery was dead again and I jump started my car.

ABS or All wheel Drive did not seem to work while driving on a Highway, and I tried to stop as there was another vehicle on the road which was spinning out of control. If ABS was activated, the car would have stopped, and similarly if All wheel Drive was working, car would not have spun out of control.
