Your check engine light came on indicating a misfire in cylinder 3, which you initially fixed by replacing spark plugs and coils. However, about a week later, your car lost power while accelerating uphill in traffic and wouldn't go faster than 20-25 mph, creating a dangerous situation. The dealership diagnosed a head gasket failure and possible engine block cracking, which would require extensive repairs costing around $7,000.

Your car experienced a head gasket failure, which caused you to lose power and control of the vehicle. All warning lamps illuminated simultaneously at the time of the failure. The dealer confirmed the diagnosis was a failed head gasket. Repair will likely involve removing the cylinder head and replacing the gasket.

Your engine's cylinder head developed a hairline crack that's causing coolant to leak out of your cooling system. A certified mechanic confirmed the crack, and losing coolant can cause your engine to overheat, potentially leading to fire or smoke — a serious safety risk. The dealership performed a teardown inspection that identified additional damage to the timing chain and head gasket, though you may want a second opinion since other owners report similar issues being misdiagnosed. Fixing this will likely require replacing the cracked cylinder head and possibly the head gasket and timing chain.

Your car started stalling and hesitating while driving, and the dashboard lights came on as if the engine wasn't receiving fuel — even though your fuel tank had gas. This happened initially on 2/18/26 and occurred again when you tried to drive the car later.

Your engine has a cracked cylinder head causing a coolant leak due to a faulty head gasket. This appears to be a known issue affecting multiple owners of this model. The engine will need the cylinder head inspected and the head gasket replaced to stop the leak.

Your car's engine is misfiring in cylinder 1, which is causing a noticeable loss of power when you drive. This happens when the spark plug in that cylinder isn't firing properly or the fuel isn't igniting as it should. The problem will likely require replacing the spark plug, ignition coil, or fuel injector for that cylinder.

Car started overheating randomly while driving and pulled over to see why. Opened the hood to white smoke everywhere and an active leak of coolant by the exhaust manifold. Took it to a mechanic and was told the cylinder head itself has porosity and/or a hairline crack. Pressure tested as well and can visibly see the leak coming from the cylinder head itself.

This is very serious while driving on the highway vehicle warning for engine temperature right after check engine came on. I almos crashed becuase the engine temperature close to limit asked to reduce the acceleration but how can I slow down in 2 lines fast highway on very dark night. This very, very unsafely and Honda should take this seriously if they claim safety is priority.
