Owner Complaints (10)
Your car is experiencing rough idling and loses power when you try to accelerate—the engine won't rev or respond to the gas pedal. A diagnostic code pointed to the throttle body, which you've replaced twice, but the problem returned immediately after each replacement. This has happened at highway speeds (80 MPH) and created a dangerous situation. The issue may involve checking the throttle body sensor, wiring, or fuel system components rather than just replacing the throttle body itself.

Your car won't start with the key unless you push it in hard, and even then it may take several attempts before the engine turns over. This suggests a problem with either the ignition switch or ignition module that controls the starting system. The fix will likely involve replacing the faulty ignition switch or ignition module.

Your throttle control warning light has come on twice, and when it does, your car loses power and has trouble accelerating—this happens after long drives at highway speeds (45-55 mph). The light goes away when you turn the car off and back on, and it hasn't stayed on long enough for a mechanic to diagnose it with a computer scan. The light doesn't appear during normal around-town driving.
