2015 Dodge Journey Transmission Problems

The check engine light stays on and code po740 Torque converter clutch circuit open, and the stated fix is replace converter solenoid and trans fluid and filter. Also recommends do not drive. I am qualified to make repairs and did so, cleared codes drove Approx.100 miles light returned on solid.

The differential and the viscous coupler is what I'm having to replace now cause it is bad. The car is not that old and I'm going to have to spend around $3,500 to fix both of these parts. We could have been killed if we were driving the car, it would have locked up and caused an accident.

The car slips or jerks when it shifts into gear, usually when going from first to second. It is an automatic and this happens while it is in motion. There have been multiple mechanics look at and the transmission was rebuilt twice but the problem still persists.
