Your driver's side headrest suddenly deployed on its own when you started the vehicle and hit your head, causing neck and shoulder pain. The dealer said an extended warranty had expired and didn't diagnose or repair the problem. The headrest mechanism may need to be inspected and repaired or replaced to prevent this from happening again.

Your headrest has popped open and won't close back down. You're also unable to remove the headrest to attempt fixing it yourself. This prevents you from adjusting the seat back to a comfortable position.

Headrest on drivers and passenger seats came apart when seat was layed forward to clean the floors.
Without warning or physical contact, front passenger headrest deployed. Had someone been in the seat at the time, an injury would have occurred as parts came flying out of it when it deployed.
MY DRIVER SIDE FRONT HEAD REST POPPED OUT FOR NO REASON WHILE I WAS SITTING IN MY CAR AT .MY WORK.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY DRIVER SEAT HEAD REST RANDOMLY DEPLOYED. LUCKILY MY HEAD WAS NOT ON IT AT THE TIME AS I WAS LOOKING IN MY MIRRORS TO MOVE OVER A LANE ON THE INTERSTATE. IF MY HEAD HAD BEEN ON IT AND IT DEPLOYED, THERE'S NO TELLING WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED, ESPECIALLY SINCE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. I THOUGHT SOMEONE HAD RUN INTO THE SIDE OF MY VEHICLE IT WAS SO LOUD. THIS IS NOT SAFE AND SHOULD BE A RECALL. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET FIXED, AND IT COST'S OVER $500 TO FIX IT. I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY $500 TO FIX THAT. WHAT HAPPENS IF ANOTHER IS DEPLOYED? THIS NEEDS TO BE CHECKED AND FIXED ON ALL THESE VEHICLE AS IT IS NOT SAFE AND CAN RANDOMLY DEPLOY AT ANY TIME. PLEASE MAKE THIS A RECALL!
THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT HEADREST DEPLOYED RANDOMLY WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY.
