Your car shut off while you were driving and won't restart. You discovered there's a recall for the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), but your car was manufactured just after the recall period ended, even though it has the same TIPM as recalled vehicles. The problem turned out to be a faulty internal relay in the fuse box that required expensive diagnosis and repair.

Your transmission's computer is causing your car to jerk harshly when shifting from first to second gear, regardless of driving conditions like hills, curves, or highways. You have a lifetime powertrain warranty, but the dealer says there's no available fix for this issue and won't develop one. The repair would likely involve reprogramming the transmission control module or replacing internal transmission components to correct the shift logic.

HAD TO REPLACE THE TIPEM,WIN AND HAVE KEY FOBS REPROGRAMMED TO SYSTEM. HAVE HEARD FROM OTHER DODGE OWNERS WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS THAT HAVE HAD THESE PARTS REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES.I BELIEVE PARTS ARE DEFECTIVE CAUSING THESE PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLES. I HAVE RESEARCHED AND FOUND MULTIPLE CASES AND NOT ONE SIGNIFICANT CAUSE AS TO WHY THIS KEEPS OCCURRING. I EVEN ASKED THE DODGE MECHANIC AND HE STATED THE HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN. AS NEW AS THESE VEHICLES ARE WITH MAINTENANCE UPKEEP THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN AND IT USUALLY OCCURS WHEN THE WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. THIS SEEMS TO OCCUR MOST WITH 2006 THRU 2009 MODELS. *TR
