I PURCHASED A SET OF NEXEN ROADIAN HP 102V TIRES IN JULY 2015, SIZE 265/35/22. I RECENTLY WENT TO GET MY VEHICLE SERVICED WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED NEW TIRES AND WAS ASKED TO COME TAKE A LOOK. ALL 4 OF MY TIRES HAD CRACKED AROUND THE SHOULDER OF THE TIRES, AND THE CRACKING WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE TIRE THAT I HAVE NO VISION OF. THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE NEVER KNOWN IF I HADN'T TAKEN MY VEHICLE IN TO BE SERVICED. I HAVE ONLY PUT A LITTLE OVER 20,000 MILES ON THESE TIRES AND THE TREADING IS GREAT WHICH DOESN'T SHOW ANY SIGNS OF NEGLECT. THE PLACE I PURCHASED THE TIRES FROM AGREED THAT THE TIRES ARE IN GREAT CONDITION, & THE TIRES HAD THE CORRECT PRESSURE IN THE ETC. THEY ALSO SAID THAT I'M NOT THE FIRST PERSON THAT HAS COME IN WITH THE SAME ISSUE WITH NEXEN ROADIAN HP TIRES. THEY SENT ALL OF THE PAPERWORK IN TO THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY ARE THE WORST. BERNARDO WAS VERY RUDE AND TRYING TO PUT BLAME ON THE CUSTOMER (ME) WHEN HE WAS CLEARLY TOLD BY THE PLACE I PURCHASED THE TIRES FROM WHICH ARE THE SAME ONE'S THAT TOOK PICTURES OF THE TIRES AND DID THE INSPECTION THAT THEY SEE ABSOLUTELY NO FAULT OF MINE AND THAT THE TIRES ARE JUST DEFECTIVE. SO THEN I ASKED FOR THE DOT NUMBERS, AND WHAT DO WE DISCOVER??? THE MANUFACTURING DATE WAS STAMPED 4715, HOW COULD THIS BE IF I PURCHASED THE TIRES IN JULY 2015? THERE IS SOMETHING SHADY GOING ON AND NEXEN NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED, MY CAR HAS BEEN AT MCCARTHY TIRE FOR 2 WEEKS AND NOW THAT THE DOT ISSUE HAS BEEN DISCOVERED NO ONE HAS AN ANSWER TO WHY IT'S STAMPED FOR THE 47TH WEEK OF 2015, IT'S ONLY 52 WEEKS IN A YEAR WHICH MEANS I WOULD'VE HAD TO BY THOSE TIRES IN NOVEMBER 2015. THE REVIEWS I'M READING ON NEXEN TIRES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE THAT I'M HAVING, WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE BEFORE A RECALL IS DONE ON NEXEN TIRES?

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 DODGE CHARGER EQUIPPED WITH AMERICAN EAGLE BOSS MOTORSPORT 338 18.5 CHROME RIMS. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, AN ABNORMAL SOUND EMITTED FROM THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE RIM HAD FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE RIM WAS REPLACED. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING, AND ABNORMAL SOUND EMITTED FROM THE VEHICLE AS IT SPUN OUT OF CONTROL. AS A RESULT, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL DISENGAGED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PIECES OF THE RIM WERE SCATTERED ACROSS THE ROAD. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED WHIPLASH AND OTHER MINOR INJURIES THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND DEEMED DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 171,000. *TR

A FIRE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE CONTACT DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED DURING THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED FROM NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V341000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V313000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

ALLOY WHEELS ( 17 INCH ) WITH CHROME CENTER CAP ( RAM EMBLEM ) ARE EXPERIENCING PITTING AND CORROSION AROUND CENTER HUB. THIS HAS EATEN AWAY THE CLEAR COAT ON THE ALLOY WHEELS. ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT A SAFETY CONCERN AT THE MOMENT, IT REDUCES THE VEHICLES VALUE ( TRADE IN ). CHRYSLER ENGINEERS NEED TO REDESIGN THIS SO THAT CORROSION DOES NOT TAKE PLACE. SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED TO ANOTHER OWNER'S VEHICLE ( DODGE INTREPID 1993 ). CHRYSLER NEEDS TO MAKE IT RIGHT BY REFINISHING ALLOY WHEELS. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER SRT8. THE VEHICLE HAD EURO TRENZ WHEEL RIMS. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE DROVE OVER A POTHOLE AND THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL RIM CRACKED. HE DROVE ONTO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE WAS FLAT AND THE WHEEL RIM WAS CRACKED. THE WHEEL RIM CRACKED ON TWO OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT REFERENCED RECALL 09E002000, WHEELS:RIM AND HAS CALLED THE MANUFACTURER FOR TWO WEEKS AND NO ONE RETURNED HIS CALL. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 27,570.

HE WAS ALSO UNABLE TO TAKE THEM OFF OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THERE WERE NO PRIOR WARNINGS, THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 55674.

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE THE WHEELS FROM MY VEHICLE, I DISCOVERED THAT THE FACTORY TIRE TOOL WOULD NOT FIT ON THE STOCK LUG NUTS. THE LUG NUTS ARE A TWO PIECE DESIGN, A STEEL NUT WITH A SHEET METAL JACKET COVERING IT. THE JACKET HAS BECOME WARPED AND THE TIRE TOOL WILL NOT FIT. I CONTACTED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND SPOKE WITH A MECHANIC. HE STATED IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM. I THEN CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER. I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO TAKE THE VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND HAVE IT SERVICED BEFORE I FILED A COMPLAINT. I REALIZE THIS MAY NOT SEEM LIKE A SAFETY ISSUE, I WOULD NOT WANT MY SPOUSE OR MYSELF TO BE STRANDED ALONG A HIGHWAY OR REMOTE ROAD BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO CHANGE A FLAT TIRE DUE TO A POOR LUG NUT DESIGN. *TR

I OWN A 2007 DODGE CHARGER SE I BOUGHT BRAND NEW 8/7/2007 AT 5,000 MILES I NOTICED A SQUEALING NOISE WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT HEAR ANY NOISE FROM THE BRAKES AND THAT MAYBE IT WAS DIRT GETTING IN THE BRAKES. DEALERSHIP SAID THEY CLEANED THE BRAKES AND I SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS. THE SAME DAY I STILL NOTICE THE SAME SQUEALING NOISE WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES. I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AT 6,000 MILES AND ALSO ADVISED THE DEALERSHIP OF THE BRAKE PROBLEM AGAIN. SERVICE PERSON SAID HE WOULD TEST DRIVE TO SEE IF HE COULD HEAR THE NOISE AND AGAIN HE COULD NOT HEAR THE NOISE. I WENT IN FOR MY 12,000 MILES OIL CHANGE DEALERSHIP DID AN INSPECTION OF THE CAR FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES AND STILL DID NOT HEAR THE NOISE. NOW AT 15,500 MILES WHILE DRIVING AT 10 MPH I TRIED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN AND DISCOVERED THE WHEEL LOCKED UP AND I COULD NOT MOVE THE WHEEL AT ALL AT FIRST I THOUGHT THE CAR HAD STALLED BUT THERE WAS NO LIGHTS CAME ON THE DASHBOARD TO INDICATE THAT SO I STOPPED MY CAR AND PUT IN PARK AND TURNED IT OFF AND RESTARTED IT AND THE WHEN RELEASED AND I WAS ABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL AGAIN. WELL 5 DAYS LATER THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME AGAIN THIS TIME I WAS DRIVING 45 MPH AND WAS TRYING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN AND AS I WAS SLOWING DOWN AND ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN ONCE AGAIN THE WHEEL IS LOCKED UP. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP YESTERDAY AND I WAS ADVISED AFTER LEAVING MY CAR THERE FROM 8AM UNTIL 3:30 PM I WAS ADVISED BY THE SERVICE PERSON THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM AND I AM TERRIFIED TO DRIVE THIS CAR. WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 65 MPH AND NEED TO TURN SUDDENLY AND THE WHEEL LOCKS UP I COULD BE KILLED OR HURT OR HURT SOMEONE ELSE ON THE ROAD MY CAR IS STILL AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE SERVICE MANAGER TO SEE IF HE CAN SEE IF THE PROBLEM WITH THE WHEEL WILL OCCUR WHILE HE IS DRIVING. *TR
