Your engine's valve lifters failed at about 75,000 miles, requiring replacement of one lifter bank. Within 5 months, the other lifter bank failed and damaged your camshaft. You may notice a tapping noise from the engine when lifters fail, but no warning lights appear. Failed lifters can cause severe engine damage while driving, which is a serious safety concern.
