Your windshield wipers have stopped working completely and unexpectedly four times over two years. The BMW dealership replaced the wiper motor the first time it failed, but the wipers quit again about six months later. Since then, the dealer hasn't been able to reproduce the problem because it happens randomly. The fix will likely involve diagnosing and replacing the wiper motor, wiper relay, or related electrical components.

Your windshield wipers suddenly stopped working while driving on the highway in heavy rain and traffic, creating a dangerous visibility problem—and this wasn't caused by a blown fuse. Additionally, your windshield is continuously developing small crater-like damage that appears to be degrading on its own rather than from road debris or stone impacts.

Your front driver and rear passenger windows have fallen down inside the doors due to faulty window regulators. After having the driver's side window repaired at a dealer, your rear passenger window broke just five days later. The windows are dropping because the regulators that control them are failing, and you'll need to have the window regulator assembly replaced on both sides.

Your power window regulators have stopped working twice on your 2000 BMW X5 4.4i. Both times the problem was repaired, but you had to pay for the fixes. This appears to be a recurring issue affecting multiple BMW models from this year.
