The contact owns a 2012 BMW 328i. The contact stated while driving approximately 15 MPH and making a right turn into a parking lot, the turn signals, interior lights, and instrument panel lights became inoperable. Additionally, the side-view mirrors no longer operated as needed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed and found that the footwell module needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the vehicle was no longer under warranty and also not covered under a recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 328I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS SUDDENLY BECAME INOPERABLE WHEN THE VEHICLE SWITCHED FROM ECO MODE TO NORMAL DRIVE MODE INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE AND ONCE RESTARTED, THE WIPERS REMAINED INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,000.
